Team 79 Update

Here’s an update from Dustin and Deepak:

… to Serbia and then the plane to Thailand (19 hrs)..

Last night spent much time talking to Gumballers of our stage 1 experiences…. Phrases like, “And then they took my license�, “And I told him take it, because I have a spare one!� and “Those bastards wanted to keep my car to put me out of the rally… so I…� were pretty common and ever more inventive. I think that is why I do these things… How can you understand the context of the story if you weren’t there???

Here is a pic of the car in Gumball livery from Vienna, Austria. We made it through Austria with only one harassment ticket (Dustin’s). At least he gets a souvenir now, lol. I’ll post a copy of the Euro 140 (that we got for $106 USD — cheaper) /thing/ so that future ralliers can just print out their own and same themselves the 4 minutes it took us.

We were driving with Bam’s Gallardo, got pulled, and caught up to him all in like 20 minutes…. You can probably do the math on that one.
