Gumball 3000 HQ has revamped its website in anticipation of the 2011 event. You can head over through this link. The 2011 Gumball 3000 will take place towards the end of May; leaving from London, competitors will end up in Istanbul with stopovers in Barcelona and Monaco.

Gumball 3000 released the route of the 2011 Gumball 3000 Rally. The 12th edition of the Gumball 3000 supercar rally will cross Europe from London to Istanbul. The rally will start in London on the first weekend of May 2011 and finish a week later in Istanbul. Checkpoints include Paris, Barcelona, Monaco, Venice and Belgrade.

So you wonder what the Gumballers did all these hours on the plane from Stockholm, Sweden to Bangor, Maine in the US? Well here’s what they did!

This could very well be the best video of this years Gumball 3000 that went from London to New York! After the Mini safely returned to Amsterdam I flew out to New York City to attend the finish of the rally. But this would not be complete without bringing the Gumballers in so I made a couple calls and soon found Nick that I met on the Great American Run in 2007 willing to pick me up from JFK airport in his modified 996 Turbo and head out of town to intercept the Gumballers somewhere along the route from Toronto to the finish in Times Square, New York.
