This could very well be the best video of this years Gumball 3000 that went from London to New York! After the Mini safely returned to Amsterdam I flew out to New York City to attend the finish of the rally. But this would not be complete without bringing the Gumballers in so I made a couple calls and soon found Nick that I met on the Great American Run in 2007 willing to pick me up from JFK airport in his modified 996 Turbo and head out of town to intercept the Gumballers somewhere along the route from Toronto to the finish in Times Square, New York.
The Dutch Top Gear Magazine send Edo Brunner to Amsterdam to cover the Gumball 3000 event. The two part video has some great shots and interviews with the drivers including the first cars to arrive, Xzibit and Jon Olsson! If you don’t understand Dutch skip through the first minute or two because that’s when the English interviews begin!
Great video of the Gumball 3000 passing the Dutch border at Hazeldonk! The Porsche 997 GT2 of our friends DMC and Sten is the first to pass on the video, but the KTM Xbow and Ezra’s Bentley Continental GT were already ahead. We are clearly not in the video as we took a different route haha!
Last monday the Gumball 3000 had a stop at Anderstorp Scandinavian Raceway in Sweden. Our member Coffe posted some amazing pics from the Gumballers at the race track in our Gumball 2010 forum!
